Matt is currently the President of a management consulting firm specializing in turnarounds, strategic planning, and economic forecasts, and simultaneously serves as the CFO of a tech startup specializing in dynamic pricing and data analytics.  He has additional experience in both alternative investment and public accounting, as well as extensive experience in risk analysis and operations management.

Outside of his consulting work, Matt is a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserves with nearly 14 years of service in the military.  Having served 13 of those years in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, he recently completed a 3 ½ year tour as the Company Commander for a logistics/distribution unit based in Central Pennsylvania.  In 2009, Matt deployed to Iraq where he served dual roles as the Executive Officer of a medical unit and as the Brigade Medical Logistics Officer for the 56th Stryker Brigade Combat Team.

Matt currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Military Assistance Project and as the Audit Committee Chairman of an institute of higher education in Washington, D.C.  He also participates in numerous political organizations in Western Pennsylvania and has served on campaign committees for local, state, federal, and judicial candidates.

Matt holds a B.S. in Finance from The Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.  He is a Certified Fraud Examiner and Certified Public Accountant (Pennsylvania & Virginia), and has completed certificates of achievement in Six Sigma (Green & Black Belt) and Lean Six Sigma through Villanova University.
